The objects of The Coton de Tulear Club shall be:

1. To promote the interest of the breed and responsible ownership at all levels
2. To act as a focal point for both knowledge and education
3. To promote Dog Shows and to hold breed shows etc. along with social and educational events
4. To promote the welfare of the Coton de Tulear and to advise on welfare issues
5. And to adopt such other means as may be deemed advisble for the encouragement of the breed.
