The Coton de Tulear Club is THE official club as recognised by The Kennel Club and was founded in 2001.
During these years the Club has been successful in progressing the breed from the Imported Register to the full breed register; we have been successful in promoting the breed to such a high standard that we now are able to exhibit at many shows both at Open show level and Championship show level ; we hold a Breed Club Open Show each year; and this year for the third year running we will be competing at the world famous Crufts Dog Show organised by The Kennel Club

The Club has also put into place a welfare scheme, a code of good practice, and a health policy.
